Replacement Parts Access

Every individual 3D-printed replacement part is priced below $20. Schools may also download available print files and produce structural parts themselves. Electronic and mechanical replacement costs vary by component — see Repair.

Setup requirements
Power outlet — standard wall power feeding the included 12V/50A supply.
A classroom network — students connect laptops and the robot to the same network to reach it over SSH.
Student computers — any OS with a code editor and SSH client. No specialized software beyond that.
Clearance on all sides when powered — tabletop or a dedicated cart. No mounting required.
No cloud subscription is required for core robot operation.

Curriculum & access

Free hub. Optional premium subscription.

The Learning Hub is free — permanently. It includes everything needed to set up, operate, and safely teach with the robot. A future annual premium subscription adds ongoing content on top of that free foundation.

Instructor support

No prior ROS 2 or humanoid-robotics experience is required.

The Learning Hub guides instructors and students through setup, programming, testing, debugging, safety, and repair. Basic computer familiarity is recommended. The platform reduces dependence on specialized instructor expertise — it does not remove the need for an instructor.

How many robots does a program need?
Robotics club or STEM team: one robot, teams of up to 15 students rotating engineering roles.
Single class section: one robot per rotating team of students, scheduled across the class period.
Multi-section CTE or engineering program: multiple robots shared across sections; future multi-robot features are planned to support coordinated, team-based labs.
